The Respect Life Ministry at Our Lady of Perpetual Help is committed to promoting and building a more just society, consistent with our Catholic beliefs, where every human life is cherished and protected from conception until natural death. Membership is open to all OLPH parishioners who have a passion for the dignity and sanctity of all human life and a desire to share that beautiful truth in a peaceful and compassionate manner.
The Respect Life Ministry sponsors an annual Mother’s Day Baby Shower, and a Baby Bottle campaign every October, as well as other events throughout the year.
Respect Life Month
October is Respect Life Month! This year's Respect Life theme is "Every Life: Cherished, Chosen, Sent," highlighting our call to build a culture of life as missionary disciples. Check out our Respect Life Program page for new resources and ideas on sharing the Gospel of Life in October and year-round.
Small Change. Big Impact. - Baby Bottle Project
Please help young mothers in difficult circumstances by taking a baby bottle in the church foyer during the month of October. Filling it with your loose change will directly support the free, life-affirming programs offered at local crisis pregnancy centers. Return the bottles to the baskets on October 28 or anytime to the Parish Center. It is a great way to involve the entire family. The Respect Life Ministry thanks you for your participation.
