7th Annual Solemn Vespers for the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation

Friday, October 22, 2021 | 7 – 9 p.m.

All are invited as the Catholic and Greek Orthodox communities of greater Chicagoland join together at OLPH for an ecumenical service to give thanks for God’s gift of creation and to recognize the conservation efforts of His disciples.

This important joint service will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.

His Eminence Cardinal Blase J. Cupich will preside at this service and is honored to be joined by His Eminence Metropolitan Nathanael of Chicago.

The vespers will be followed by a lecture in McDonnell Hall from Chicago-based architect Doug Farr, entitled “The Role of Architecture in Caring for Our Common Home.”
