Fr. Tom Hickey, our former pastor, will be leading a ten-day tour of the Holy Land in October 22-31, 2018.

To visit the land of our Jewish ancestors and Jesus himself helps our faith come alive. We are able to read the scriptures with a new sense which some call the fifth gospel – the land. As the OLPHun Run Committee steps into high gear to plan the 2017 event, they recognize all of the sponsors, volunteers, runners and walkers who made OLPHun Run 2016 a huge success! The race made a donation of over $31,000 to Sister Paulanne’s Needy Family Fund. Thank you!

With gratitude to our Lord, the participants, team leaders, volunteers, as well as, school and parish staff for their support and flexibility, the Totus Tuus program enjoyed a warm, sun-drenched week focused on faith, friends and fun.

Forty-five families participated, including 52 kids in the day program, and 27 young adults in the evening program. Daily mass, faith-centered activities and several surprises kept the children engaged all week!

Thank you for your support of Our Lady of Tepeyac High School’s 22nd Annual Scholarship Benefit held on May 5th at the Chicago Cultural Center.

We were so thrilled to present the ¡Creemos! Award to the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Sharing Committee. We raised over $140,000 for needs-based scholarships in the 2017-2018 school year. OLPH is bringing back its offering of a fun, healthy, and competitive dodgeball contest for all parish children in grades 3-8. Students will be grouped by grade level and compete to be King of the Court.

Cost is $10 per session. Session dates are Fridays: June 16, 23, and 30, 7:00-8:30 pm.

A group of OLPH volunteers worked on Saturday, June 10, to feed the needy at an outdoor St. James Mobile Pantry event. Over 300 people were served.

OLPH Church is participating in Glenview Summer Fest. an annual, community, street festival put on by the Glenview Chamber of Commerce. It is a family-friendly event featuring local organizations and businesses, food vendors and entertainment. The date is Saturday, June 24, 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Admission is free. Food and merchandise is available for sale at various booths.
