On January 10, the OLPH Business Networking Ministry hosted the third annual Youth Summer Job Fair. This year saw a record number of employers and vendors, 11, and a record number of job seekers, 107. Many job seekers  - looking for their first job - brought a parent, adding to the energetic atmosphere of the evening. The event gave them an opportunity to participate in an informal venue learn about potential job opportunities and expectations.

Please join the Institute for Diaconal Studies at St. Philip the Apostle, Northfield on Wednesday, January 17 at 7:30pm. The Exploring the Diaconate session will take place in the John Paul II Room.
Directors of the Institute will welcome you and discuss all aspects of the archdiocese’s deacon formation program, including application requirements and all elements of the formation journey. Wives of potential applicants are welcome and urged to attend.

The calendar does not help us this year when it comes to Advent. There is no fourth week of Advent. Sunday, December 24 is the Fourth Sunday of Advent. It is also Christmas Eve. We will observe the Fourth Sunday in the morning and transition to Christmas Eve beginning with the liturgies at 3:00 p.m.
