NPH Mexico Hosting Informational Night

Please join us at our Hosting Informational Night,
Thursday, February 28, 7:00pm in Hickey Hall.

NPH USA is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting the physical, spiritual and emotional needs of vulnerable children in Latin America and the Caribbean. More than 6,200 children in nine different countries are supported by our network of residential care homes and family strengthening programs, called Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH, Spanish for “Our Little Brothers and Sisters”).
Each year, a music and dance troupe from one of the NPH homes visits the United States to raise funds and awareness for their brothers and sisters in our annual “Pequeño Tour.” They share with us, through traditional song and dance, the culture of their country, Latin America and the Caribbean.

This year, NPH USA and NPH Mexico will be visiting the Chicagoland area from Thursday, March 21st through Monday, April 8th, 2019.
We are calling on parishioners from Our Lady of Perpetual Help to help us host 14 young people and a chaperone from NPH Mexico during their visit.
They will have a full schedule during this time, performing at various locations throughout the Chicagoland area and presenting at Masses at Our Lady of Perpetual Help the weekend of March 30–31.

We need host families! Host families open their homes and hearts to two guests from NPH.  Families can host for 6, 12, or all 18 nights. This is a wonderful opportunity for your family to participate in a multi-cultural exchange and get to know these young people in a special way.

For more information, please contact Heather Canto at 312-386-7489 or  via email at hcanto@nphusa.org.
Your gift of time, your home, and your heart are greatly appreciated by all of us at NPH USA and NPH Mexico. Thank you!
