Saturday, August 8 ~~ Read Pope Francis Encyclical, Laudato Si ~~
Father Jeremiah Boland and the Adult Education Ministry will present a discussion of the Pope's Encyclical, Laudato Si': On Care For Our Common Home. The discussion will take place on Saturday, August 8 at 9:30 a.m. in McDonnell Hall, Lower Level of the church.
Some questions we plan to address are:
- How can the Pope speak on climate science?
- What can I do about the global economy and the plight of the poor?
- How is the Encyclical shaped by the fact that Pope Francis is a son of the developing world?
- How can our community respond to the moral challenges of the Encyclical?
