Jack Shea presents Seeing Haloes: Christmas Poems to Open the Heart
Many Christians complain that Christmas often happens without them. They look forward to the season, but they experience it as rush, excess, and exhaustion. Dr. Shea has used the metaphor ”Finding the Child” to describe this experience. Christ may have been born, but they cannot find the child- they are not experiencing the Christmas revelation.
Dr. John Shea is a theologian and storyteller who lectures nationally and internationally on faith-based health care, contemporary spirituality, storytelling in world religions, and the spirit at work movement.
