Weddings at Our Lady of Perpetual Help are beautiful and memorable. On this page you will find information about Parish wedding procedures and help in planning your liturgy and music. We look forward to helping you create a ceremony that is a unique celebration of your faith in God and your love for each other.

Wedding Dates and Times

Weddings at OLPH are held only on Saturdays at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, or 3:00 pm. We regret that we cannot accommodate requests for weddings at other dates and times.

Scheduling

Call our office to speak with either Laura or Gloria to schedule the date and time of your wedding. Either of them may also assist you in scheduling private meetings with one of the Parish priests, or arranging appointments to discuss premarital preparation classes and wedding planning.

We suggest scheduling your wedding six months or more in advance; please do not make additional wedding-related plans until you have confirmed the date and time of the ceremony at OLPH.

Parish Wedding Procedures

We have prepared a Guide to the Sacrament of Matrimony, in which you will find wedding policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding music, photography and videotaping, flowers and decorations, wedding fees, and necessary documentation. Church and civil requirements are outlined, as well.

Planning Your Wedding Liturgy

You have a lot of ideas about the kind of wedding ceremony you would like. One of the first things to consider is whether you will have a full mass (with communion) or a liturgy of the word (without communion). Your priest will help you determine which option is best for your circumstances, and he will also assist you in planning many of the other details for your ceremony.

Wedding Musicians

Your Parish wedding fee includes the required service of our Director of Music and organist and the service of an OLPH cantor. The Music Director will gladly advise you if you wish to have supplemental musicians at the ceremony.
