Stewardship of Talent

The word stewardship can have many connotations, but what they all really come down to is that we are stewards of the many gifts and blessings God has given us. We are called to give thanks for those gifts, to use them wisely, and to return them with gratitude and increase to God.

Our Lady of Perpetual Help offers many opportunities to practice the stewardship of talent. Getting involved in one of the many ministries or activities at OLPH is the best way to get to know people and the surest way to experience the support of the entire community–serve as a lector, volunteer to work on the Sharing Committee, or serve at the Marquard Center soup kitchen, for example. You will feel a connection with other parishioners and experience the joy and sense of fulfillment of giving back when you share your talent. OLPH Parish thrives because of the time and talent given freely by responsible and generous members of our faith community.
