How You Can Help

During the summer months, individuals and groups can sign-up to pack sack lunches for distribution by the Night Ministry.

NIGHT MINISTRY,
BEAT THE HEAT/OPEN DOOR

The Night Ministry provides outreach to inner city homeless, ministering with food, medical assistance, counseling, clothing, blankets, and more. Our Lady of Perpetual Help volunteers and donates food several times per year.

The program reaches out on the streets where the homeless can be found through the Health Outreach bus, which circulates in the city six days per week and gives access to medical care, food, and hope. The Youth Services program at The Night Ministry provides shelter, alcohol and drug rehabilitation, and social services to teens at two inner-city shelters, one specifically designated for pregnant teens and their children.

Contact OLPH parishioner Sandy at 847.724.3806 for details about our Parish involvement.
