ABOUT OUR PROGRAM

Mission Statement

The Our Lady of Perpetual Help Sharing Program, in unity with the Parish, strives to address the challenge of Matthew 25, to minister to the suffering Christ among us, providing support for basic human needs of the poor. Consideration is given to those within our Parish community, to the communities of our four inner-city Sharing Parishes – Our Lady of Tepeyac, St. James, St. Philip Neri, and St. Sabina – and an international parish in Santiago Chile. Assistance is offered beyond these boundaries where feasible and material, volunteer, or financial resources allow.

OLPH is enriched through relationships with our Sharing Parishes who invite our participation in liturgical and cultural events. We give witness to the spiritual richness that often grows in those with less material distractions and are provided the privileged opportunity to give.

Who We Are

The OLPH Sharing Committee is comprised of 200 plus volunteers. The group gives organization to the OLPH Sharing Program. The committee brainstorms and implements outreach efforts, working through the generous spirit of the Parish. The Sharing Committee organizes the opportunities to share and the Parish makes all a reality by providing the resources, be they financial, material (food and other), or volunteerism.
