All new Ministers of Care must complete a training course which is necessary for certification to take part in this ministry. The course helps ministers reflect on the theology of suffering and of the Eucharist.

If you, a family member, or someone you know are homebound, unable to attend Mass, a trained Minister of Care will bring Holy Communion to you. Call the parish office at 847.729.1525 to make arrangements.
OLPH offers the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick [2] on the second Saturday of each month directly after the 8:30 am Mass. You may also make an appointment with one of the priests by calling the Rectory.

Ministry of Care
Ministers of Care bring the Eucharist to those parishioners who are confined to their homes, hospitals, or nursing homes. They also make pastoral visits; Ministers of Care pray with, support, and comfort parishioners in need and their families. Ministers of Care are caring and prayerful men and women who care for our sick parishioners.
