Mission Statement

Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish is a family of believers in Christ. We strive to live according to his teachings, as found in Sacred Scripture and the Tradition of our rich Catholic heritage. We take as our mission in the world the living out of the Gospel of Jesus. Therefore we strive:

• To provide a ministry of prayer and worship that nourishes us through the Sacraments, with the Eucharist as the center of our lives.
• To provide for our continuing spiritual formation and religious education, with an effort to connect our faith to events in our everyday lives.
• To minister to our youth and elderly, as well as the unique needs of families, married couples, and singles, with special concern and love for all who are hurting.
• To reach out to the needs of others through our sharing efforts, with an awareness of our responsibility to our church, to our society and our world.

We embrace these tasks as a continuation of the mission of Jesus, welcoming all in the spirit of Christian hospitality, so that all may experience the rich promise of God’s love for our world.
