A Deeper Understanding of Holy Week

Saturday, March 27 at 9:00 a.m. in McDonnell Hall

Fr. John Cusick returns to OLPH Parish. His presentation is titled “An Adult Appreciation of the Passion and Death of the Christ.”
This one hour reflection will give you a deeper appreciation of the scriptures and events of Holy Week.

The Center for Marriage Enrichment

The Center for Marriage Enrichment (CME) offers weekend retreats and seminars for married couples that improve communication skills, increase intimacy, and re-energize marriages. For more information, contact Patty Tilghman of Parish Counseling Services at 847.729.9234.

Renew Faith-Sharing Groups

The RENEW Faith-Sharing groups gather weekly during the six weeks of Lent and for six weeks each Fall. Each ninety minute session is spent reading and discussing the coming weekend’s Mass readings. The groups are composed of a variety of people from many parts of the OLPH community with diverse backgrounds who all have an interest in reflecting upon and sharing their own faith experience.

Book Club

Members of the OLPH Book Club constantly search to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith. Members read and discuss books on theology, history, spirituality, Biblical studies, Vatican documents, peace studies, Catholic Action, and the Rapture. The club is interested in books that give insight into the way God works in the human heart.

Generally, the group meets on the first Monday of each month in the Youth Office from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. There is no fixed membership, and all are welcome, even those who have not read the book.
