Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP)

All of our commitments, including our commitment to Christ, need continual renewal. CRHP (pronounced "chirp") offers men and women the opportunity to take a break from their everyday lives for one weekend. During the weekend, participants will experience prayer, Scripture insights, Reconciliation, Eucharist and Christian community. Contact Dana at 847.832.1920

Renew Faith-Sharing Groups

The RENEW Faith-Sharing groups gather weekly during the six weeks of Lent and for six weeks each Fall. Each ninety minute session is spent reading and discussing the coming weekend’s Mass readings. The groups are composed of a variety of people from many parts of the OLPH community with diverse backgrounds who all have an interest in reflecting upon and sharing their own faith experience.

The Micah Committee

The Micah committee works to foster unity, celebrate diversity and overcome the attitudes and prejudices that keep people apart. We take our mantra from the prophet Micah: to act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with our God. We always welcome new members.

Among the activities of the Micah Committee are:

  • Attending Archdiocesan retreats focused on Racism and Ethnic Sensitivity.
  • Hosting the Festival of Cultures Mass and Dinner at OLPH in November.
