Emergency Shelter Casseroles

Each month the Women’s Club assists the Sharing Committee by providing food for the Emergency Shelter. Each guild is assigned a month in which to provide six casseroles for the Emergency Shelter.

  • Each guild is responsible for six casseroles, each serving 10-12 people.
  • Casseroles should be frozen (homemade, store bought, or Market Day).
  • Contents of each casserole and cooking instructions should be clearly marked.
  • Mark each casserole “Emergency Shelter, Guild XX.”
  • Casseroles should be placed in the silver upright freezer on the north wall of the Lafayette Sharing Room before 9:00 am on the first Saturday of the month to which you are assigned, or any time the day before. If the door is locked, the key may be obtained from the rectory.

The Sharing Committee depends on our help, and is very appreciative of the support. Thank you in advance for your generosity.  If you have any questions, please call Ann C. at 847.657.6046.
